Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor for a full-time position at PennWest Clarion University Dining Hall. The role includes some nights and weekends and requires overseeing front-end operations, ensuring safety and quality, and supervising a team.

Ideal candidates will have foodservice experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. We offer a family culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures including but not limited to food and physical safety programs.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (e.g. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
