Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor Patient Placement to provide supervision of patient transport activities and lead transport caregivers. You will oversee safe transport of patients and related items.

In this role you will analyze the transportation department's procedures, ensure efficient operations, and support the hospital's commitment to patient-focused care and safety.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years of customer service and transportation operations experience, preferably in a health care setting.

Under the direction of the Manager Patient Placement provides supervisory responsibility for patient transport activities and will be responsible for supervising other patient transport caregivers. Responsible for the safe transport of patients, specimens, supplies, medications, equipment and other miscellaneous items. May have accountability to oversee and analyze the transportation department and all internal and external procedures regarding patient transport as well as procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery.

Required Qualifications

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
