Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX, seeks a Supervisor, Patient Transport to oversee transport services and supervise other patient transport caregivers. You will ensure the safe transport of patients, specimens, supplies, medications, and equipment, while promoting efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of customer service and transportation operations experience, preferable in a health care setting.

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager Patient Placement provides supervisory responsibility for patient transport activities and will be responsible for supervising other patient transport caregivers. Responsible for the safe transport of patients, specimens, supplies, medications, equipment and other miscellaneous items. May have accountability to oversee and analyze the transportation department and all internal and external procedures regarding patient transport as well as procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years of customer service and transportation operations experience, preferable in a health care setting.
