Description

Transport performs duties involving the movement of patients, items, and equipment to and from various nursing units and destinations within the hospital. The transporters' primary focus is to respond to and complete tasks within the departmental productive standards, these tasks are assigned to them by the Transport-Tracking automated dispatch system and their supervisor.

About the Team

Providence has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1856 when Mother Joseph and four other Sisters of Providence arrived in Vancouver, Washington Territory. Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Involved in the movement of ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients in a Health care setting or 2 or more years of military service.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
