Job Responsibilities

1. Maintains open communication among marketing and triage personnel, practice sites, physicians, advisory groups, and consumers.
2. Supports personnel in the pursuit of knowledge and resolution of problems.
3. Supports and defines goals, policies, and procedures.
4. Supervises quality audits to support the quality assurance process and ensures staff meet all departmental productivity and quality standards, including integration analysis and testing.
5. Coaches employees as needed to meet performance standards.
6. Creates, maintains, and files all logs and documentation of staff performance and compliance with department goals and targets.
7. Assists with Human Resources issues, such as performance evaluation, recruitment, hiring, adherence to departmental policies, and disciplinary actions.
8. Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reports as requested by the department leader.
9. Maintains adequate staffing levels consistent with patient volumes to ensure optimal customer service and performance.
10. Ensures time and attendance records are current and variations are communicated promptly.
11. Shares on-call coverage rotation to ensure department operations during off-shift hours.
12. Uses open communication to identify and resolve problems within and between departments.
13. Conducts team meetings and involves staff in decision-making.
14. Promotes activities that recognize and reward staff.
15. Develops educational programs to adapt to process changes within the department.
