Job summary

Savage is a global provider of supply chain infrastructure and logistics solutions with hundreds of locations. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the maintenance team and oversee CMMS usage to ensure timely and safe upkeep of heavy equipment and facilities.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety leadership, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to minimize downtime in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial facility.
• Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong communication with leadership, vendors and team members.
• Capable of ensuring regulatory compliance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the maintenance team of mechanics and operators on maintenance activities.
• Supervise daily maintenance activities.
• Develop and lead preventative maintenance practices for the facility.
• Maintain CMMS records and ensure updates are accurate.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure team follows safety rules.

TheMaintenanceSupervisorwillprimarilylead the system andequipment maintenance efforts for the Savage Coal/Sulphur Operation in El Dorado, KS; including the organizing of maintenance team members, ensuring the Computerized MaintenanceManagementSystem is utilized properly andkept up-to-dateand ensure the facility’s maintenance work is completed timely, efficiently and safely.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provideleadershiptothemaintenanceteamofmechanicsandoperators on maintenance activities.
• Supervisedailymaintenanceactivities.

• MaintaintheComputerizedMaintenanceManagementSystem(CMMS).

• Managesparepartsinventoryandensurethatnecessaryamountsofinventoryareinstocktoreduce anydelaysorfailures.

• Plan work and repairs – from bidding and cost estimation, schedule development, through execution

• BachelorDegreepreferred
• PhysicalRequirements:
• This role will require standing or for extended period of time and walk long distances throughout the day
• Navigatingthefacilitywillinclude,butisnotlimitedto,exposuretoharshweatherconditions, unevenground,ladders,racksandotherhighplaces,groundthatcanbeslick,icyoruneven, andotherindustrialhazards
• Becausewearea24/7operation,thissupervisormaybecalledoutatnighttoassistwithcritical serviceproblems
• Minimaltravel,butwillincludebothairandroadtravel
• Mustbecomfortableworkinginanofficeenvironmentattimes,workingwithacomputerandsittingfor longerperiodsoftime
