Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Operations Management Supervisor for the Huntsville, AL AMF-South team. You will direct activities in production areas to meet goals, quality and cost objectives, and prioritize schedules by product introductions and materials supply.

The role requires leadership experience, ability to plan weekly production, and potential for 12-hour shifts on a 3-day/week weekend schedule. Security clearance is a possibility.

Qualifications

The Operations Management Supervisor directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior leadership experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior leadership experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Understands basic supervisory approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, and process execution.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned areas
• Experience in leading teams building electromechanical hardware
• Familiarity with 5S and lean procedures.
• Ability and willingness to work other shifts and overtime as necessary.
• Oracle and Delmia experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly.
