Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a staffing coordinator to oversee hospital-wide staffing resources with fiscal responsibility to ensure safe patient care. You will work with Operations leaders to provide resources for Patient Care Services.

Responsibilities include Kronos scheduling, onboarding, interviewing, and staff credentialing; lead training for new leaders, maintain staff licenses, and coordinate purchasing and payroll edits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating hospital wide staffing resources with operations leadership to ensure safe patient care.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kronos; provide training for new leaders and staff.
• Demonstrates organization skills; prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines.
• Works with Operations in Agency Credentialing and onboarding.
• Participates in interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement processes to enhance staff engagement and retention.
• Timekeeping of payroll edits for Pool and CAS staff; maintain staff certifications.
• Oversees ordering and fiscal responsibility of office supplies; coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable for vouchers.
• Verify nursing licensure renewals for the organization.

Short Description

Coordinating hospital wide staffing resources while having direct oversight in the allocation and fiscal responsibility of managing these resources to ensure units are able to provide safe patient care. Direct oversight of day to day Working with Operations leaders in providing resources for Patient Care Services

Responsibilities

• Works with manger of operations in maintaining Kronos schedules
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kronos, a super user, and provide training for new leaders and staff
• Demonstrates excellent organization skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Works with manager of Operations in Agency Credentialing
• Participates in the interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluation of staff
• Develop and implement processes to enhance employee engagement and retention
• Time keeping of payroll edits for Pool and CAS staff
• Maintains staff certifications for Pool and CAS
• Oversees and manages the ordering and fiscal responsibility of office supplies for the department. Directly works with Purchasing and Accounts Payable for all submitted vouchers.
• Verification of nursing licensure renewals for the organization

Experience Required

• 0-2 years required
• 3-5 years preferred

Education Requirements

• High School/GED required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
