Job summary

Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools seeks a qualified Supervisor of Instruction to lead program administration at the high school level. The role reports to the Assistant Principal and oversees curriculum implementation, budgeting and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a valid NJ Supervisor Certificate, has at least five years of teaching experience, and demonstrates strong leadership of academics and English Language Arts programs.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Supervisor Certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience, part of which shall include experience developing and implementing curricular programs
• Experience supervising secondary level academic programs and English Language Arts instruction preferred
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff/students
• Thorough understanding of N.J.S.A. Title 18A and N.J.A.C. 6A, AchieveNJ, as well as Educational policies and protocols

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, manages and oversees all phases of program administration and supervision within the high school under the direction of the Assistant Principal
• Supervises students, faculty and support personnel as assigned
• Assists in the development and implementation of curriculum, as well as budget preparation, and program evaluation
