Qualifications include NJ Principal Certification, a Master's in curriculum/instruction/assessment, and at least four years of teaching experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New Jersey Principal Certification.
• Master's Degree with coursework in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Minimum of four years of successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum development and program evaluation, child growth, and effective instructional strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and supervision of the district's curriculum, instruction, and assessment program.
• Prepare a detailed analysis of standardized test results with a plan to rectify deficiencies and build on achievements.
• Conduct in-service training and professional learning communities for staff.
• Assist in creating the professional development plan for the school year.
• Develop and maintain a program of humanistic education.
• Maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline policies.
• Provide guidance to individual students and address behavioral concerns.
• Prepare reports on violence, vandalism, substance abuse, and weapons as required.
• Supervise cafeteria, playground, and extracurricular activities; support school events.
• Initiate and supervise academic enrichment and remedial programs.
