Job summary

Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools is seeking a Supervisor of Instruction for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves coordinating program administration and supervising staff within the high school, under the direction of the Assistant Principal.

The ideal candidate holds a valid NJ Supervisor Certificate and has at least five years of teaching experience, including curriculum development and program evaluation, with preference for ELA program supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Supervisor Certificate required.
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience, including curriculum development and program implementation.
• Experience supervising secondary level academic programs and English Language Arts preferred.
• Understanding of educational policies and protocols (N.J.S.A. Title 18A and N.J.A.C. 6A, AchieveNJ).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, manages and oversees all phases of program administration and supervision within the high school under the direction of the Assistant Principal.
• Supervises students, faculty and support personnel as assigned.
• Assists in the development and implementation of curriculum, as well as budget preparation, and program evaluation.
