Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor for a job in Dallas, Texas.

Location: Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) - Downtown Dallas, Texas
Unit: Nuclear Medicine
Shift: FT/Days | Flexible, 7:30/8a- 4/4:30p
On Call: Holiday call rotation (60min radius)
Sign On Bonus: $10,000 (external applicants only)

Job Summary

The Special Imaging Supervisor assists management in supervising, planning, organizing, and improving work processes in Radiology specialties like CT, MRI, US, IR, or Nuclear Medicine. Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, policy development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Acts as a liaison in the manager's absence.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee imaging quality, patient prep, and turnaround times, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and resources, evaluate staffing needs, and manage schedules.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, train staff, and ensure certifications are current.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, monitor goals, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, and foster interdepartmental relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and patient communication protocols.

  • High-quality imaging skills, independence, professionalism, patient rapport, and current knowledge in relevant age groups.
  • Training capability, effective staffing decisions, computer proficiency, and flexibility to take call if required.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited program.
  • 3+ years of nuclear med tech experience, hospital experience, billing and charge knowledge preferred.
  • Certification: BLS, MRT from Texas Medical Board, and ARRT-NM or CNMT.
