Job summary

Mountaineer Casino seeks a Mutuel Supervisor to assist in overseeing the daily operations of pari-mutuel wagering, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will process betting transactions, monitor activity, and support opening/closing procedures while coordinating with Risk Management and Compliance teams. The role involves handling large sums of money and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
• Confidentiality of procedures and information is a must.
• Basic knowledge of computer operations.
• Must be committed to 100% customer service.
• Must be able to comprehend a Union contract.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all betting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory and company policies.

• Resolve customer disputes or elevate complex issues to the Mutuel Manager as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment.
• Work in coordination with Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and incident reporting.
• You will be responsible to report shortages and overages to the Mutuel Manager.
• Will be handling large sums of money.
• All other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report directly to the Mutuel Manager and then to the Director of Racing

• Must be capable to implement the WV rules of Racing.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. May be exposed to working in a noisy, lights, smoke secondary smoke environment. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
