Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of facility systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, organizational ability, and leadership skills to manage a team of maintenance staff and coordinate daily operations effectively.

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and distributes assignments in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the building and its systems.
  • Evaluates and performs preventative maintenance of both the building systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Responsible for the training and safety of maintenance workers.
  • Coordinates with management on performing these duties in a timely, cost-effective manner that is in keeping with the contractual obligations of the company

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • 7+ year's experience in the maintenance of a manufacturing facility
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
  • General knowledge of local building codes
  • Type 1 refrigeration license preferred (HVAC)
  • Advanced electrical/mechanical knowledge
  • Basic plumbing and carpentry
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics

Training Requirements

  • HAZMAT Training
  • OSHA Compliance Training
  • Plant Safety Training
