Position Objective

The Maintenance Supervisor manages the maintenance teams responsible for repairing electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the completion of work assigned to maintenance team members.
• Assists with planning and preparing training and orientation for new maintenance team members.
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs needed.
• Works with the Maintenance Director to plan work priorities, obtain supplies, and assess skills required for tasks.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments.
• Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work; delegates assignments based on skills and experience.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and promptly.
• Assists team members with technical issues or complex problems.
• Inspects work performed by team members.
• Tracks and logs materials and resources used for inventory purposes.
• Works with the Maintenance Director to coordinate safety meetings.
• Maintains spare equipment for critical systems.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Great understanding of CNC machines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
• Ability to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reports, logs, and inventory management.
