The Supervisor, Licensing and Compliance is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high performance. They analyze team performance, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and implement process improvements to enhance operations. The supervisor engages in performance management by providing training, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous development. They also review and approve licensing rules, manage workload distribution, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while maintaining a focus on team well-being and operational continuity. Additionally, the supervisor leads change management efforts and resolves obstacles to support team success.

  • Oversees and manages team's daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Analyzes and reports on team operations and performance, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision‑making
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the team meets its targets and maintains high performance standards
  • Engages in performance management activities, providing training, coaching, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Reviews and approves new or updated pre‑requisite rules, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Evaluates and approves all knowledge articles, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility for team members
  • Assists in balancing the overall workload of the team, including the management of paid time off planning, to maintain operational continuity and team well-being
  • Sets priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines; develops plans to meet short‑term objectives

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • 3-5 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor; ideally within a document operations, legal, or compliance‑related function.
  • Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
  • Prior experience monitoring and Reporting on KPIs and SLAs
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with a focus on process improvement and team performance management leveraging digital systems and processes
  • Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required
  • Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Knowledge of DMV regulations and processes is strongly preferred, but not required
