Job summary

Bio-Techne Corp. is seeking a detail‑oriented team player for filling and kit assembly in a GMP environment. You will verify documentation, participate in new product intro and validations, and handle back‑order jobs while maintaining safety and quality.

The role emphasizes accurate paperwork, cleanroom upkeep, and organized consumables management, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and cross‑functional teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in ISO 13485 is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical company is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Execute filling and kit assembly in GMP environment with minimal supervision.
  • Verify production paperwork complies with schedule and GDP.
  • Assist with new product introductions or validations as required.
  • Handle back-order jobs, special work orders, and reworks as needed.
  • Maintain clean room and general lab housekeeping and waste disposal.
  • Place orders, restock, and organize manufacturing consumables.
  • Support problem resolution and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
  • Assist with cycle counts and routine equipment calibration and maintenance.

Job Purpose

Pay Range

$20.80 - $28.60

Responsibilities
  • Execute filling and kit assembly job functions with minimal supervision in GMP environment.
  • Verify production job packet is complete with the proper documentation in accordance with the manufacturing schedule using GDP.
  • Participate in new product introduction or new product validations as required.
  • Responsible for executing high priority tasks such as back-order jobs, special work orders, reworks.
  • Participate in general laboratory maintenance functions such as regular cleaning of lab facilities, cleaning of lab ware, disposal of waste, etc.
  • Place orders, restock, and organize manufacturing consumables.
  • Actively participate in resolving problems or issues in area of responsibilities.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
  • Participate in cycle count when required.
  • Occasionally perform routine equipment calibration and preventive maintenance, including de-frosting freezers and refrigerators, and other routine cleaning, etc.
  • Assist in other areas as necessary to fulfill department goals.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Experience
  • Experience working under ISO 13485 is a plus.
  • Previous manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical company is strongly desired.
Working Conditions

Clean room laboratory environment. No travel required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for long periods of time and carrying out repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
