The House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for quality nursing care and overall supervision of nursing staff members for a particular Hospital shift. She/he is responsible for nursing care delivery for admissions to the Hospital on his/her shift. The House Supervisor (RN) needs to have a working knowledge of the Hospital administrative and nursing policies and procedures and community resources to function effectively. The House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for initiating disciplinary action in the Clinical Manager’s absence.
