Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Supervisor of Housekeeping is to ensure that housekeeping staff are trained on all standards necessary to maintain and service the club's operations property. They are responsible for maintaining the highest level of facility maintenance and cleanliness of the club and resort hotel rooms.

Job Duties

1. Lead the daily operations of the housekeeping department and support Room Attendants and House Attendants.
2. Assist with training and hiring new team members.
3. Collaborate with the Maintenance department to address room and property deficiencies.
4. Maintain close relationships with other departments, especially Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Facilities.
5. Inspect rooms and provide ongoing feedback to the team.
6. Monitor and replenish supplies and materials as needed.
7. Handle lost guest property according to Invited Clubs procedures.
8. Perform opening and closing procedures as per standards and ensure accurate reporting.
9. Inspire and engage the team to perform their best every day.
10. Address guest comments and complaints promptly.
11. Assist the team in meeting daily goals.
12. Help with staff scheduling.
13. Ensure room standards are maintained.
14. Create action plans and update progress based on guest and employee feedback.
15. Prepare work schedules to cover all tasks in assigned areas.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous housekeeping leadership experience preferred.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Attendance Requirements

This position requires attendance as per the weekly schedule, with additional hours including weekends and holidays as needed to meet deadlines.

Due to the fluctuating demands of the club's operation, employees may be asked to perform various functions outside their typical duties and assist others as needed.

About You

• At least 2 years of general housekeeping experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
