DP World in Fairburn is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to plan and coordinate safety operations onsite. You will improve safety performance, productivity and efficiency through effective methods and strategies, joining a growing, global logistics group.

This role is fully onsite at the Fairburn location, with 1st shift hours and responsibilities that include coordinating ESG and safety training, enforcing policies, and supporting audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Experience planning and coordinating safety operations in a facility.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to administer safety training for staff and contractors.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to plan and coordinate safety operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving safety performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!

We Are Hiring For The Following Schedule

1st Shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Assist in the identification, development and administration of company safety training programs.
• Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Providing technical safety and health support and information to all employees.
• Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other regulatory requirements.
• Administer mandatory environmental, health and safety training and ensure all newly hired employees, agency employees, contractors, visitors and transferred employees receive proper training.
• Assist with the enforcement of regulatory regulations and company policies.Assist with launches of new facilities in relation to EHS programs
• Ensure compliance to audit standards and work with auditors and vendors to answer findings and complaints in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Ensure employees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. Involved in the development of work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
• Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
• Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance. This will include property in and around the facility.
• Review plans and specifications for development of new machinery, equipment or processes to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
• Serve as a member of the First Aid/CPR Responder/ERT teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
