We are looking for an experienced Dock Safety Coordinator at our Fairburn, GA.

The Dock Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting a safe working environment across dock and warehouse operations at DP World. This role monitors daily safety practices, conducts inspections and observations, identifies potential hazards, and works closely with operations leadership and associates to ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Dock Safety Coordinator will support incident and near-miss investigations, track corrective actions, conduct safety audits, and assist with safety training and communication. The role will identify trends and opportunities for improvement and partner with operational teams to implement preventative measures that reduce workplace risks and promote a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to influence safe behaviors and build positive relationships with employees at all levels.

This position plays a key role in maintaining safe dock operations, supporting regulatory and company compliance, reducing incidents, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.

We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

• 2nd Shift Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 3:30am

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Observe drivers unloading and loading trucks to ensure they follow safe practices. Maintain communication and situational awareness with delivery drivers to ensure the drivers unload and load and deliver goods in a timely manner.
• Report safety hazards, and unsafe practices and procedures to health and safety team leadership
• Maintain open communications with the syncreon inbound and outbound operations team, and resolve issues as they occur to streamline deliveries via radio and PINC
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance of dock equipment.
• Walk the yard to identify unsafe practices and safety hazards. Report problems to the health and safety team leadership and syncreon senior leadership
• Engage/Disengage gladhand lock on trailers
• Remove and properly dispose of seals on trailers
• Lift, Push, and/or Pull dock plate and dock door
• Other duties as assigned.
