Job summary

syncreon onsite at Fairburn, GA seeks an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to plan and coordinate safety operations at the facility. You will drive safety performance and training to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Develop and administer safety training programs.
• Monitor updates in safety regulations and provide guidance.
• Coordinate safety training to ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance.
• Administer mandatory EHS training for new hires, contractors and visitors.
• Assist with enforcement of regulatory regulations and launches of new facilities.
• Ensure audit readiness and respond to findings and complaints.
• Ensure safe, orderly and clean work environment and develop procedures.
• Review injury/illness and incident reports and follow up as needed.
• Recommend safety features to reduce hazards.
• Inspect facilities, machinery and safety equipment for hazards and compliance.
• Review plans for new machinery to meet safety requirements.
• Serve as a First Aid/CPR/ERT responder.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to plan and coordinate safety operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving safety performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!

We are hiring for the following schedule:

• 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Assistin the identification, development and administration of company safety training programs.
• Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Providingtechnical safety and health support and information to all employees.
• Coordinateand administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other regulatory requirements.
• Administer mandatory environmental, health and safety training and ensure all newly hired employees, agency employees, contractors, visitors and transferred employees receive proper training.
• Assist with the enforcement of regulatory regulations and company policies. Assist with launches of new facilities in relation to EHS programs
• Ensurecompliance to audit standards and work with auditors and vendors to answer findings and complaints in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Ensureemployees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. Involved in the development of work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
• Reviewinjury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
• Recommendprocess and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance. This will include property in and around the facility.
• Review plans and specifications for development of new machinery, equipment or processes to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
• Serve as a member of the First Aid/CPR Responder/ERT teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
