Job Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the janitorial staff cleans and maintains the client’s premises to the standards set by FlagShip Holding Company.

Essential Functions

• Supervise employees and delegate schedules to ensure proper coverage of work areas.
• Evaluate performance of personnel, inspect assigned areas, and provide hands‑on support as needed (e.g., dust mopping, sweeping, stripping/refinishing, carpet scrubbing, restroom servicing, window washing).
• Identify and resolve problems, recommend improvements, and communicate findings to management, staff, and customers.
• Report any issues, concerns or discrepancies to the Operations Manager/Coordinator.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries, and report new or changing job/work orders.
• Track and evaluate purchasing activities, supply and equipment usage, and repairs; ensure labeling, dilution, and storage meet company, customer, and OSHA standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to staff for job‑specific tasks.
• Participate in company and customer training to communicate information to supervisors, customers, and employees.
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company policies, customer rules, regulations, and applicable laws.

Education and Work Experience

Physical Demands

Frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs. is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and adjustable focus.
