We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals towork as seasonal supervisors for Black Rocket technology programs. Westrongly encourage those who have completed or are working towardstheir supervisor or principal certification to apply!

This is a seasonal position for about 10-20 hours per week and youare expected to work the entire school year, following the prevailinglocal school district schedule. Black Rocket will TRAIN you! Regional Directors are enthusiastic, organized, and motivatedindividuals. They are confident in their ability to superviseinstructors, as well as interact with students, parents, and programdirectors. All applicants must have experience with managing schedulesor events, experience managing adults, and evidence of strong peopleskills. The ideal candidate will also have a background as a schoolsupervisor, school administrator, teacher leader, or similar.Classroom experience and knowledge of effective instructionalpractices and strong problem-solving skills are a plus. A strong techbackground is also a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Comfortable traveling throughout the SUSD School District,including multiple school sites in a day/ week starting at 2:00 PM
• 3 or more years K-12 classroom teachingor similar experience inan after school environment (must have lead groups of 20 or moreelementary, middle or high school agedstudents through rigorous content)

Experience managing adults in an educational setting preferred

Experience managing schedules or planning events

Comfortable with a range of technology

Reliable transportation to multiple sites within your regionthroughout the day and ability to transfer up to 30 lbs of equipment

Knowledge of effective instructional practices

Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers

Able to commit to the whole school year

Available to start training immediately

Pay Range: $25-35/hour
