Job summary

Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated hospital food service professional to support patient meal delivery, tray line monitoring, and cafeteria service. The role includes patient visits, departmental scheduling, production sheet preparation, sanitation, and cash verification during opening/closing procedures.

Experience in hospital or healthcare food service is preferred. On-the-job training will be provided, and there is a path toward Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent with

Qualifications

• Experience in food establishments.
• National ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient tray line and cafeteria service.
• Visit patients.
• Handle departmental scheduling and staffing.
• Prepare production sheets.
• Oversee sanitation.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash verification.
• Monitor special catering events.

Job description

Performs a variety of specialized duties related to the maintenance and organization of the department, including monitoring patient tray line and cafeteria service, visiting patients, departmental scheduling and staffing, preparing production sheets, sanitation, opening and closing procedure, including cash verification, and monitoring special catering events.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: On the job training will be provided
• National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association within 6 months of hire
• Experience in food establishments

• Upon hire: Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent
• Hospital or healthcare food service experience
