Job summary

Providence is hiring for a patient-centered kitchen role at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. You will clean and sanitize pots, pans, sheet trays, and large utensils used in hospital cafeteria operations, and assist with trash removal under supervision.

Shifts are available for AM (6:00 am–2:30 pm) and PM (1:30 pm–10:00 pm). Training and certification steps are provided; prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Food Handler Card or ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire.
• ServSafe Manager Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize pots, pans, sheet trays, and large kitchen utensils.
• Hand wash, scrub, dry, and store cleaned items; assist with trash removal.
• Perform patient/customer food service functions under direct supervision.

Job description

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, sheet trays, and large kitchen utensils used in hospital cafeteria operations. Duties include hand washing and scrubbing equipment, drying and properly storing cleaned items and assisting with trash removal.

We have positions available for both AM and PM shifts.

AM shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. PM shift hours are from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Performs patient/ customer food service functions involving, food purchasing, storage, and preparation. Under direct supervision.

Required qualifications:
