Who you are:

The Supervisor of Financial Planning and Analysis will coordinate, create, and monitor JHHP’s annual budget with a heavy focus on the $240M+ of administrative expenses for JHHP. Will work with Financial Analysts to provide administrative expense analysis and actual vs. budget reporting to various levels within the organization. Also provides Finance support to the Innovation and Non JHHP activities for monthly variance analysis and budgeting and other financial modeling as needed. This position will also be involved in various financial analysis to assist decision makers within the organization to include ROI’s, Staffing models, Capital spending, Benchmarking, Project Portfolio support, Consolidated JHHP reporting and cost allocations models.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise and development of professional staff that directly report up through this position.
  • Be a Strategic Partner to our stakeholders
  • Manage the process to develop JHHP Insurance Administrative budgets and forecasts. Monitor and report on a monthly basis.
  • Understanding and reporting on key variances from budget drivers
  • Provides timely financial reporting, support and analysis to administrative department leadership
  • Tracking and monitoring of JHHP’s capital budget
  • Develop reporting related to administrative benchmarks and update JHHP results compared to industry on a regular basis. Participate in the identification of improvement opportunities
  • Ensure consistent, reasonable, and accurate methodology is used to allocate administrative expenses to various LOBs.
  • Support the administrative expense portion of internal and external audits
  • Support the development of appropriate staffing models that can be used to assist in budgeting and forecasting of FTE efforts.

What you’ll bring:

  • Five years minimum in Accounting, Business or Finance related fields with at least 2 years’ experience in employee management.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient knowledge of budget management and business/strategic planning.
  • Knowledge and experience related to project/program management and implementation of medium and large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of contractual law and the application of legal agreements as they relate to financial, business and operational terms.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts as well as an extensive knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication necessary to interface with various levels of management.
  • Ability to compile, write and present high-quality reporting to JHHP/JHM senior management

Salary Range: Minimum $37.87/hour - Maximum $66.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
