Job summary

CSS is seeking a Supervisor - Field Service to lead day-to-day operations for a team of service technicians across multiple states. You will manage routes, coordinate resources, and schedule work to meet customer contracts, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires heavy equipment operation skills, geographic mobility, and up to 30% overnight travel. You will liaise with stakeholders and drive on-time completion of service projects in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business is required.
• Forklift certification required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation.
• 3–5 years of supervision experience in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

As the Supervisor - Field Service you will lead, direct, and execute the day-to-day operational objectives of one or more service technicians. You will manage service routes, help coordinate team activities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of service routes in accordance with the customer contract. You will be in a field working position and must be skilled in heavy equipment operation. You must be geographically mobile. You will be managing a multi-state territory across KY, NC, SC, TN ,GA, DE, MD, VA, WV and PA with up to 30% overnight travel as required.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and manages service routes development from beginning to end according to the customer contract.
• Provides daily direction to Field Service Technicians to ensure timely completion of service routes.
• Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Directs customer interaction.
• Set and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Proactively manages changes in service routes scope, identifies potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Inspects work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensures all specifications are met.
• Ensures safe working environment at all times and follows appropriate safety regulations.
• Completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License, with a satisfactory driving record required
• Bachelors’ Degree inbusiness required.
• Forkliftcertified required, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30certification preferred.
• 3 years required, 5 years preferred of heavy equipment operation (forklift certified).
• 3 years required, 5 years preferred of supervision experience in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes is required.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products is required.
• Strong time management skills is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.
• Basic computer skills is required.
