Position Overview

The Supervisor of Facilities 1 assists the director in managing the maintenance department. Responsibilities include planning, design, construction, alteration, maintenance, and security of facilities. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on patient contact level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal/written).
• Must have a current Oklahoma State Driver's License and an acceptable driving record to operate INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage department staff effectively, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and maintain procedures and staffing manuals for policies and practices.
• Assist in maintaining engineering capabilities.
• Supervise preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, and projects.
• Plan major repairs, renovations, and construction projects.
• Conduct patrols to protect personnel and property, reporting safety issues and security problems to the Director.
• Develop goals and work projects, ensuring completion.
• Assist in facility inspections and correct maintenance deficiencies.
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance and repairs on all facility equipment.
• Manage staff productivity, hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Report to the assigned Manager or Director.
