Summary:

Supervises the efficient operation of assigned areas, overseeing Environmental Services staff to ensure proper execution of environmental cleaning standards. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

• Required: HS Diploma or high school equivalency.
• Experience in hospital-based housekeeping (2 years) or supervisory roles in any field (2 years).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Experience supervising hospital housekeeping staff (3 years).
• Experience operating floor care equipment (2 years).

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently. May need to lift up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity required. Dexterity for operating office and cleaning equipment. Exposure to chemicals may occur.
