This position is responsible for leading electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and project execution while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local electrical codes.

Timberline Communications is seeking an experienced Supervisor Electrician to oversee and perform electrical work across Washington and Oregon. This position is responsible for leading electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and project execution while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local electrical codes. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and dependable electrician who holds the appropriate Supervisor Electrician licenses in Washington and Oregon, has strong knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements, and is comfortable working independently as well as leading electrical crews.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform, oversee, and coordinate electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as the electrical subject matter expert for Timberline Communications projects and operations.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Washington and Oregon laws, regulations, and local requirements.
• Maintain active Master Electrician licensing and any required certifications in both Washington and Oregon.
• Review electrical plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Plan and coordinate electrical work, including labor, materials, equipment, and scheduling.
• Lead and provide direction to electricians, apprentices, and other field personnel as needed.
• Inspect completed electrical work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes.
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repair or corrective action.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, panels, controls, and related components.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, customers, contractors, and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Obtain or assist with required electrical permits and coordinate inspections as necessary.
• Communicate with inspectors, municipalities, utilities, customers, and other stakeholders regarding electrical requirements and inspections.
• Monitor job‑site conditions and ensure appropriate safety practices and procedures are followed.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records related to electrical work, inspections, permits, materials, and project documentation.
• Assist with estimating electrical labor, materials, and project costs when needed.
• Review material requirements and assist with procurement to ensure necessary materials are available.
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and provide practical solutions to minimize project delays.
• Ensure tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials are properly maintained and used safely.
• Stay current on changes to electrical codes, licensing requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate electrical activities with telecommunications/wireless construction requirements and project schedules.
• Ensure electrical work is properly coordinated with wireless equipment installation and other site construction activities.
• Support field crews in resolving electrical and construction‑related issues that may impact project schedule, quality, or safety.
• Apply and pull permits.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

Education:

High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience is required

Qualifications

• Active Master Electrician license in Washington.
• Active Master Electrician license in Oregon, or the ability to obtain/maintain the required Oregon licensing credentials.
• 3+ years of experience supporting telecommunications/wireless infrastructure projects is strongly preferred
• Experience with wireless construction, cell-site construction, telecommunications infrastructure, or similar field environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing electrical crews, subcontractors, and field construction activities.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, electrical plans, and project documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and applicable Washington and Oregon electrical codes.
• Experience leading electrical crews or supervising electricians and apprentices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel between project locations in Washington and Oregon as required.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Knowledge Skills

• Working knowledge of telecommunications/wireless construction and infrastructure.
• Understanding of electrical systems associated with wireless telecommunications sites and equipment installations.
• Ability to coordinate electrical scopes with wireless construction activities, schedules, and site requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and field crews simultaneously.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, and job‑site environments.
• Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform electrical work in active construction and field environments.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
