Here\'s The Role
Now hiring an Electrical Ops and Maintenance Supervisor! This role is crucial to the success of our Dam and Hydro team, as you will be responsible for the daily activities of craft personnel and the operation and electrical maintenance of (13) hydro generation units and infrastructure, while working in a power plant environment. You will also support River Operations during flood events in the Lower Colorado River Basin, through flood gate operations. How You\'ll Contribute
- Review scheduled work orders with crews daily and review safety requirements or concerns for each scheduled job. Use Maximo to monitor completion of repairs, installation and maintenance of equipment.
- Work with scheduling functions to develop available employee-hour forecast for all scheduling periods including tracking upcoming annual leave, sick leave, training, meetings so that all available employee hours can be scheduled.
- Travel to all 6 sites on a regularly scheduled basis making yourself available to all electricians to ensure strong communication, clear expectations, and that electrical team focus and goals are achieved.
- Communicate regularly with crew members to ensure they are informed of all pertinent LCRA and plant related information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop and track appropriate metrics to track the effectiveness of our work processes and uses this data to help make decisions.
- Partner with plant management, safety leaders, engineering, asset management, maintenance and construction, supply chain, and SMEs in support of organizational goals.
How You\'re Qualified
- Nine or more years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver\'s license
How You\'ll Stand Out
- Able to follow the work schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM.
- Consistent record of leadership and creating an environment of employee involvement and continuous improvement.
- Electrical Journeyman\'s license through TDLR or equal.
- Experience in using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Experience in operating and maintaining a hydro turbine-based power plant.
- Experience in developing and tracking metrics.
