Job summary

Lower Colorado River Authority is hiring an Electrical Ops and Maintenance Supervisor to lead the electrical team across six sites, overseeing daily craft activities and the maintenance of 13 hydro generation units in a power plant environment.

You will coordinate with river operations during flood events, drive safety and quality, and travel regularly to sites to ensure strong communication and clear expectations with electricians and plant staff.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years in power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or relevant field.
• A degree in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted for years of experience.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Review scheduled work orders with crews daily and ensure safety requirements.
• Develop an employee-hour forecast and track leaves and training to optimize scheduling.
• Travel to all sites regularly to maintain clear communication with electricians.
• Communicate pertinent plant information to the crew in a timely manner.
• Develop and track metrics to measure work process effectiveness.
• Collaborate with plant management, safety, engineering, asset management, maintenance, construction, supply chain, and SMEs to meet goals.
