Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Experience: Two years of janitorial or landscaping experience
• Certification/Licensure: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued from the jurisdiction of residence

Preferred:

• An Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Organization Management or related field

• This job is considered mission essential and may require reporting during emergencies or severe weather events.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Custodial Maintenance oversees custodial staff, ensuring cleanliness of facilities, responding to emergencies, and applying independent judgment to solve problems.

Essential Functions:

1. Supervise, train, and evaluate custodial staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
2. Schedule work, inspect work quality, and develop staff performance.
3. Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, enforce safety protocols, and conduct safety meetings and investigations.
4. Train employees on cleaning responsibilities, safety, and environmental procedures.
5. Manage documentation, reports, and work performance data.
6. Prepare for and respond to severe weather and emergency situations.
7. Monitor staffing, review processes, and coordinate with facility managers.
8. Operate Authority vehicle as needed and evaluate new supplies and equipment.

Applicants will be assessed based on education, experience, skills, interviews, background checks, and medical screening.
