Job description

Supervise, plan, or organize construction efforts through in-house construction teams and contract labor for new construction, maintenance, rebuild projects, and storm restoration. Responsible for in-house productivity, safety, and quality of work within the construction department. Support hiring, training, development, production, and performance management of in-house teams and contractors.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
2. Coordinate with engineers and developers in designing the plant; draw and sketch installation and equipment locations; complete bill of materials (BOM) for planned construction.
3. Monitor performance of in-house teams and contractors to ensure compliance with agreements.
4. Perform site inspections for quality control.
5. Monitor daily production, review reports, and reconcile invoices.
6. Coordinate permitting and make-ready processes prior to construction.
7. Communicate updates on construction progress to management.
8. Review and process damage claims, updating relevant parties.
9. Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and support.
10. Ensure compliance with industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations.
11. Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

• Experience with HFC/FTTH construction and architecture is a plus.
