Job summary

JCW Group is seeking an AVP Commercial Claims to lead and build the commercial claims division. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coach staff, and serve as a primary contact for internal teams and external partners.

The role is hybrid with three days onsite in West Trenton and two days remote, supporting claims across multiple jurisdictions and guiding coverage decisions for Commercial Auto, BOP, and CPP lines.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Commercial General Liability Claims
• At least 1 year of management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the performance of a team of Commercial Claims Representatives and Specialists, and keep personnel records accurate and up to date.
• Oversee daily operations and workflows for the commercial claims team.
• Guide staff on coverage decisions across Commercial Auto, Business Owners Policy and Commercial Package Policy lines.
• Oversee claims across multiple jurisdictions and step in on individual claims when needed.

JCW Group has partnered with a highly respected property and casualty insurer to hire an AVP Commercial Claims. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company while simultaneously getting to build out the commercial claims division from the ground up. You’ll handle the team’s day-to-day operations, coach and develop your staff, and keep claim handling consistently high quality. You’ll also be a trusted point of contact for internal teams and outside business partners.

Schedule: This is a hybrid role: three days onsite in West Trenton, and two days remote. Hours are 8:00am – 4:15pm, Monday-Friday.
