Job summary

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA is seeking a Core Laboratory Technical Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations across Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology. This leadership role requires California licensure and ASCP certification where applicable.

The position is full-time, evening shift, on-site at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Competitive base pay ranges from $69.85 to $110.28 per hour, with potential overtime and shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Requires California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License and/or other California licensure in Clinical Laboratory Science.
• National Certification from ASCP or equivalent is required.
• Fire and Life Safety Card must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multidisciplinary laboratory sections (Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology).
• Ensure compliance with accepted standards and practices.
• Provide leadership within the Core Laboratory and support a culture of patient-centered care.

Description

Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients in accordance with accepted standards and practices. The Core Laboratory Technical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of multidisciplinary sections of the laboratory. Defined sections of the laboratory include: Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology (includes Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology).

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
