Vitalant in Tempe, AZ seeks a Clinical Lab Supervisor to lead staff, oversee testing of biological specimens, and maintain high-quality results. This role emphasizes collaboration, training, and accountability within a CLIA High Complexity environment.

You'll supervise, coordinate, and document testing workflows, calibrations, and QA activities while supporting process improvements and budgeting discussions as part of a dedicated laboratory team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Must satisfy CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.
• Three years of clinical laboratory testing experience including one year in transfusion or blood banking.
• Two years of supervisor experience preferred.
• Two years of reference lab experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Hire, supervise, train and assess the performance of laboratory staff and personnel.
• Coordinate testing of biological specimens and review testing results.
• Perform preventive maintenance, quality assurance, calibrations, and equipment troubleshooting.
