Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a nurse supervisor to manage staff in the clinical department and ensure care delivery aligns with the California Board of Nursing scope. The role reports to the Sr. Nurse Manager or Site Manager/Director and emphasizes patient-centered leadership.

Required CA LVN license, 3 years acute care or medical group experience, and BLS within 30 days of hire; EMR/IDX experience preferred and leadership capabilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse in California at hire.
• Within 30 days: BLS from American Heart Association.
• 3 years of recent acute care or medical group experience with 1 year in a medical practice.
• Experience supervising staff.

Description

Working under the direction of the Sr. Nurse Manager and/or Site Manager/Director, this position has direct responsibility for the supervision of staff in the clinical department. Ensures staff is providing patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Board of Nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.


• Upon hire: California Licensed Vocational Nurse


• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• 3 years of Recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.


• Employee supervision/management experience.

• EMR and/or IDX experience.
