Providence is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in California to provide bedside nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician/APP. The role adheres to the nursing process and supports the organization’s values.

On-site, full-time position with competitive benefits. The successful candidate will hold a CA LVN license, have recent LPN/LVN experience, and complete BLS within 30 days of hire.

Description

The Journey LPN LVN administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or the Physician/Advance Practice Provider (APP). This role utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of the nursing process when delivering care. Performs designated patient care duties to the maximum extent allowed by Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Practice Act. Actions will reflect the organization's core values.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited licensed practical / vocational nursing program.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 18 months licensed nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year - Office nursing experience.
