Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (LVN) in Mission Viejo, CA. You will supervise clinical staff under the direction of the Sr. Nurse Manager/ Site Manager, ensuring patient care remains within the CA Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, CA LVN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and 3 years of recent acute care or medical group experience with staff supervision. On-site, day shift.

Qualifications

• CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) on hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years of recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice, with 1 year in a medical practice.
• Experience supervising/management of staff.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
• Upon hire: California Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of Recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.
• Employee supervision/management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EMR and/or IDX experience.
