Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation in Santa Ana is seeking a licensed vocational nurse supervisor to lead clinical staff under the Sr. Nurse Manager.

You will ensure care aligns with the California Board of Nursing scope and support patient-focused, whole-person care in a busy clinical setting. Qualified candidates have a CA LVN license, 3 years acute care or medical practice experience, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 3 years of recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.
• Employee supervision/management experience.

Working under the direction of the Sr. Nurse Manager and/or Site Manager/Director, this position has direct responsibility for the supervision of staff in the clinical department. Ensures staff is providing patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Board of Nursing.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.


• California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.


• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire


• 3 years of recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.


• Employee supervision/management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• EMR and/or IDX experience.
