The role requires a radiology or nursing background, 3+ years of Cath Lab experience, and credentials such as RDCS/RCIS/RTR or TX RN, with BLS and ACLS. The position is on-site at a 106-bed facility with community service coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of acccredited institution of Radiology Technology or Associate Degree Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab expereince.
• Credential: RDCS or RCIS or RTR or TX RN.
• American Heart Associstion BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS

Responsibilities

• Manages day to day operations of the Cath Lab including patient throughput, collaboration with physicians and the cath lab patient schedule.
• Responsible for the hiring, evaluating, performing disciplinary action, and coaching of the staff in conjunction with the Director of the Cath Lab.
• Oversees staff and “on call” schedule ensuring appropriate experience and skill mix for all shifts.
• Maintains responsibility for ensuring properly functioning equipment and adequate supplies.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates via occurrence reports or direct communication with Leadership Team.
• Participates in policy creation or revisions and staff compliance with the policies.

To thrive in this role, The Supervisor of the Cath Lab is accountable for the supervision and performance of the Cath Lab daily operations, patient throughput, personnel, inventory management and ensuring compliance with standards of care for the designated service line (coronary, peripheral and EP). Responsible for other duties delegated from the Director of the Cath Lab.
