Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital is seeking a Supervisor for the Cath Lab to lead daily operations, ensure patient throughput, and uphold high standards of care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will oversee staffing, on-call scheduling, equipment and supply management, and compliance with policies. Collaboration with physicians and leadership is essential to optimize outcomes for coronary, peripheral, and EP services while guiding junior staff and coordinating with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or an ADN in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Credentials: RDCS, RCIS, RTR, or TX RN.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Cath Lab operations including patient throughput and scheduling.
• Hire, evaluate, discipline, and coach staff with the Director.
• Oversee staff on-call schedules and ensure appropriate skill mix.
• Maintain functioning equipment and adequate supplies.
• Identify improvement opportunities and report to Leadership.
• Participate in policy creation and staff policy compliance.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Supervisor on our Cath Lab Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. To thrive in this role, The Supervisor of the Cath Lab is accountable for the supervision and performance of the Cath Lab daily operations, patient throughput, personnel, inventory management and ensuring compliance with standards of care for the designated service line (coronary, peripheral and EP). Responsible for other duties delegated from the Director of the Cath Lab.

1. Manages day to day operations of the Cath Lab including patient throughput, collaboration with physicians and the cath lab patient schedule.
2. Responsible for the hiring, evaluating, performing disciplinary action, and coaching of the staff in conjunction with the Director of the Cath Lab.
3. Oversees staff and “on call” schedule ensuring appropriate experience and skill mix for all shifts.
4. Maintains responsibility for ensuring properly functioning equipment and adequate supplies.
5. Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates via occurrence reports or direct communication with Leadership Team.
6. Participates in policy creation or revisions and staff compliance with the policies.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of an accedited institution of Radiology Technology or Associate Degree Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab expereince
• Credential: RDCS or RCIS or RTR or TX RN
• American Heart Associstion BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS
