Supervisor, Business Services, Professional Billing

Position Overview: Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the revenue cycle team. Responsibilities include executing operational decisions, personnel recruitment, staff coaching and development, monitoring service quality, escalating issues, implementing improvement initiatives, and maintaining an effective management system. Ensure compliance and meet production standards. Collaborate with other revenue cycle and hospital leaders to align workflows.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in a hospital or healthcare revenue cycle setting, with one year in a leadership or responsible role involving coaching or team management.
• Technical knowledge in insurance billing, accounts receivable, payment posting, or health insurance authorization.
• Experience in a high-production environment, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Two years in a formal leadership role.
• Experience leading process improvement projects.
• Experience in customer service roles.
• Technical knowledge in multiple billing and management areas.
• Supervisory experience with diverse staff.

Compensation Range

$71,578 - $107,366 annually, based on full-time employment (2080 hours/year). Salary offers depend on skills, experience, and other factors.
