Job summary

Aspire Bakeries Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, plant safety, and operational efficiency. Lead preventive and corrective maintenance and mentor a maintenance team.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience in maintenance operations, basic PLC knowledge, CMMS familiarity, and strong problem-solving skills. 3rd shift, 10 pm–6:30 am, weekends required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in maintenance operations, preferably in an automated food processing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CMMS.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as required in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must possess basic hand tools (screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, pliers, socket set, tape measure, hammer, basic electrical meter).

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, plant safety, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in managing preventive and corrective maintenance while optimizing team performance.

Compensation
  • Salary Range: $95,000 - 105,000

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CMMS.

  • Must possess a set of basicstandardsized handtools necessary for maintenance tasks, including but not limitedto:screwdrivers (flathead and Phillips), adjustable wrench, pliers, socket set, tape measure, hammer, and a basicelectrical meter.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Post-secondary education or technical certifications in maintenance or engineering.
  • Experience managing contractors and capital projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies and systems.
  • Valid driver's license and applicable local/state certifications (if required).
  • Familiarity with KPIs and maintenance performance metrics.
