Job summary

ServiceSource Inc. seeks a capable operations/engineering professional to support NGA West Base Operations. You will lead planning, CAD support, and contract coordination, delivering timely, quality service while meeting security and safety standards.

The role requires AutoCAD/REVIT proficiency, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams to drive performance and compliant procedures in a demanding government environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required plus 5 years related experience or HS with 10 years experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT/Builder in project completion.
  • Knowledge of Archibus CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and assign work to subordinates based on task difficulty and capabilities; set priorities and prepare schedules.
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly battle rhythms and ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Assess performance, create metrics, perform quality inspections, and drive improvements.
  • Communicate with customers and staff regarding CAD requests, drawings, and reviews.
  • Assist Planning Manager with contract development, planning, estimating, and coordination with customers.
  • Review documents for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely service.
  • Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations of staff.
  • Create/Implement/Ensure compliance of AutoCAD/REVIT standards and support annex team.
  • Ensure security, safety, and regulatory compliance; provide training materials as needed.

Job Summary

This position is responsible to provide effective customer service and achieve customer satisfaction by delivering services in a professional, courteous, and timely manner for our National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) West Base Operations Support Contract.

Primary Duties
  • Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates based on difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees; set and adjust short-term priorities; prepare schedules for completion of work; reconcile assigned work to actual performance; monitor and submit reports on performance.
  • Establish a daily, weekly, and monthly battle rhythm for their operations and ensure goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.
  • Assess work performance; create metrics; perform quality control inspections; develop performance standards; follow administrative guidelines; and find ways to improve production, efficiency, or increase the quality of the work directed.
  • Communicate with customers, employees and other individuals answering questions, and/or providing support regarding CAD, drawing requests, prints, drawing review.
  • Assist Planning Manager - Engineering with management of contract development, planning and estimating, coordination with customers, quality assurance and internal quality control.
  • Review all documents for completeness and accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and providing timely and courteous customer service.
  • Participate in hiring, employee counseling and termination of subordinates.
  • Complete managerial tasks such as timesheets, evaluations, manager training, and training subordinate staff.
  • Create/Implement/Ensure compliance of AutoCAD/REVIT standards and assist annex team with FAQ.
  • AutoCAD subject matter expert;
  • Communicates in person, in writing and verbally with other managers and supervisors, contracting officer representatives, other government customers; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Evaluates work performance of subordinates; trains; and gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
  • Interviews candidates for positions in the unit; recommends appointment, promotion, or reassignments.
  • Ensures compliance with SSI guidelines and directives.
  • Identifies employee developmental and training needs; provides or arranges for needed development and training.
  • Develops safety and job skills training materials and trains personnel.
  • Ensures and enforce compliance with all SSI and Government security, quality control, safety/PPE, training requirements; and COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
  • Provides workers proper equipment and resources to ensure operations run smoothly and safely.
  • Hears and resolves complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager; effects minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands; recommends other action in more serious cases.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years related experience or high school diploma or state certified equivalent with 10 years of experience required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT/Builder and project completion.
  • Knowledge of administrative systems such as Microsoft, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Archibus, and other project management software.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Personal computer (PC) knowledge leading to proficiency in various software and/or spreadsheet operations.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
