Overview

Leading the deployment and providing expert-level support for ancillary applications within the ecosystem, managing system integration, resolving complex issues, and guiding Level 2/3 analysts in troubleshooting and resolution techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead deployment and configuration of ancillary applications.
  2. Provide expert end-user support for ancillary applications, handle critical issues, and mentor Level 2/3 analysts.
  3. Drive user engagement, align application features with user needs, and suggest improvements.
  4. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides and best practices.
  5. Oversee system configuration, execute complex changes, and ensure thorough testing before deployment.
  6. Design and manage user testing strategies, analyze results, and implement enhancements.
  7. Validate and test system upgrades, review release notes, and coordinate user acceptance.
  8. Collaborate with technical teams on updates and upgrades, acting as liaison between users and developers.
  9. Lead cross-functional collaboration to optimize patient care through effective application use.
  10. Participate in internal change management processes.
  11. Work independently with minimal guidance, assist in project planning, and participate in special projects.
  12. Communicate effectively across teams and levels of leadership.
  13. Support training teams by updating them on new functionalities and system changes.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or health sciences preferred.
  • Experience may substitute for education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 9 years supporting EHR Ancillary applications.
  • Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification

  • Preferred EHR Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Support for EHR/Clinical Applications, Medical Terminology, and Relationship Building Skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong typing skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Typical Working Conditions

  • Remote position within the USA.
  • Frequent phone interactions.
  • Ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, and perform extended data entry.
  • Sitting for long periods, with occasional bending and stretching.
  • Manual dexterity for keyboarding and office equipment operation.
