The Supervisor, Accounting Services, will play a hands‑on role with clients while overseeing accounting operations. This position involves both direct client work and reviewing higher‑level work that requires strategic insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and foundational experience in accounting operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Client & Team Interaction:

• Serve as a primary advisor for a varied client base, providing customized solutions and high-level accounting services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources, resolving client issues effectively.
• Perform higher‑level client work, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Engage frequently with external clients to understand and anticipate accounting needs.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage financial reporting and month‑end closing procedures, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide expert‑level services, including bookkeeping, preparing journal entries, financial statements, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Experience with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online, is essential.
• Background in public accounting or financial services preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity with a focus on client interaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for client interactions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with other accounting systems beneficial.
