Piping Rock Health Products, INC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMP guidelines while driving efficiency and quality. You will lead a diverse team, maintain safety, and coordinate shifts to meet company goals.

The role requires 5+ years in Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations, strong English communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods. A proactive, autonomous leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Must be able to support the operation on any shift as needed up to including Saturday.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift to 50lbs.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.

Job description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing/and Warehouse Operations and must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Motivate all associates and create a warm and welcoming environment.
• Responsible for all the different tasks associated with the manufacturing areas related to pharmacy, blending, encapsulation, and compression.
• Responsible for the warehouse operations.
• Identify any potential safety hazards and address them immediately.
• Coordinate the shift to ensure all quality requirements are met in each manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on leadership to ensure productivity targets are met based on the company goals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Lead employees by making self-available to staff, provide regular performance feedback, and develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth.
• Generate and follow Key Performance Indicators across the different departments.
• Perform data analysis to implement continuous improvement throughout the plant operations.
• Ensure federal regulations including safety protocols, environmental requirements, and cGMP guidelines are met.
• Train associates on SOPs, OPLS, policies and other required procedures ensuring they are followed throughout the plant.
• Review production planning/scheduling to implement appropriate tasks across the departments.
• Perform root cause analysis including investigations and taking appropriate preventative actions.
• Development of associates to build a strong team.
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
• Work and communicate effectively with the entire team across the operation.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with cGMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Must be able to support the operation on any shift as needed up to including Saturday.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift to 50lbs.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems

Role’s Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment.
